Owing to its geographic position, Massa Lubrense has the privilege of being one of the most important starting points for tourist excursions in the Campania region. A short sea trip carries visitors over to Capri. Pompei and Vesuvio are also within a short distance. A magnificent road, every bend of which reveals unbelievably beautiful views, leads from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi. Visitors who have made Massa Lubrense their base can map out a programme of alternate excursions on the hillside and along the beautiful Sorrento coast, and visit Pompei and Vesuvius. There is a bus station about 50 metres from the resort and a train station about 10 km away. Naples International Airport is approximately 60 km away from the resort.
